10# I usually use for more finicky situations and 12# for when I'm fishing the pilings.
From: Comments: Just used the 8lb test for the first time today on a spinning reel. It behaves very well on the spool and has very good knot strength (palomar knot). Overall this is a quality product and will continue to buy and recommend this.
For the money it's not even close there's monos that are more expensive.
One spit the hook and other pulled the hookoff at boat.
I have landed many big fish with this line the latest being a 4 pound bass on my jig rod the line held up great and allowed me to get the bass out of the brush.
Line has held up great low stretch, high sensitivity, virtually invisible, and abrasion resistance.
Line also is very managable on the spool of a baitcaster and has very low memory.
**Update**5/22/17** I take back what I said, this has birdsnested twice (spinning reel) and is starting to turn green now that the weeds are starting to grow in.
2.5/5 spend the extra and get invisx From: Comments: I love this line, only brand of flourocarbon i use on the market!
